Client Intake

(Services 1-3 do not generate charges)

1. Client is in need of Construction, Design, or Consulting services

  • Client contacts us via email, phone or in person.
  • Client fills out Crizer Consultation Questionnaire - providing contact information, general scope of work needed and rough budget.
  • Client schedules an appointment via phone, email or scheduling link.

2. Initial Site Visit, Phone Call or Zoom Conference

  • Review project scope with client, discuss ideas & review all available information.
  • Document project location with photographs, videos, basic measurements.

3. Preliminary Estimate

  • Based on initial meetings and available information, we will generate & provide an estimated cost range to complete the project. 
  • If client accepts estimated cost range a PSA, Design Agreement or Feasibility Study is prepared and signed.

Research, Design & Permitting Agreements

(Services 4-6 will generate charges and may require a deposit)

4. Professional Services Agreement (PSA)

  • This agreement covers all tasks needed to take the project from the preliminary estimate through to a final construction contract. 
  • Follow-up visits, detailed scope of work, estimating, material selections, bidding process, project timeline and design.  

5. Design Agreement

  • If we need to obtain a permit for the work requested, or you are only interested in our design services, we will start with a Design Agreement.
  • This covers our design & permitting time to obtain a permit.

6. Feasibility Study

  • If you are wondering what you can do with your property, we recommend starting with a Feasibility Study. 
  • This study will provide a detailed explanation of your parcel characteristics, allowable development and steps needed to obtain a permit.
  • If the result of the Feasibility Study leads to you wanting to develop your property you will move to a Design Agreement.

Construction, Follow-Up & warranty

7. Final Estimate & Contract

  • Signature of the Final Estimate & Contract puts you onto the build schedule.

8. Construction

  • Once we break ground on your project we prioritize finishing it quickly with quality.  We will work with you to minimize disruption.
  • We are accustomed to working with clients who are in remote locations, and will provide project updates regularly through our project management software.

9. Follow-Up & Punch List

  • We will return to your project after a few months to address any issues you discover after the dust has settled.

10. Warranty

  • We provide a 1 year fit & finish guarantee, and a 10-year transferrable warranty.
